About the role
In this role, you will have the following key responsibilities:
- Play a pivotal role in shaping and guiding the development of our enterprise operations platform, ensuring seamless end-to-end processes across the entire business in over 15 countries. This includes integrating with a custom-developed platform and SAP systems.
- Analyze and enhance our IT architecture to accommodate state-of-the-art business processes, ensuring optimal efficiency and effectiveness.
- Coordinate with external IT providers to oversee the development and support of our applications, maintaining a collaborative and productive working relationship.
- Take charge of planning, coordinating, and executing improvement projects from their inception to completion, ensuring successful implementation and delivering tangible results.
You will have the opportunity to work in the following locations: Munich, Berlin, Rhine-Neckar Region, or the option of a home office combined with a willingness to travel as needed. This provides flexibility and ensures that you can work from a location that suits your preferences while also accommodating the requirements of the role.
Requirements
- Exceptional conceptual and analytical skills, allowing for innovative problem-solving and strategic thinking.
- A degree in Business Informatics, Computer Sciences, or a related field, providing a solid foundation in relevant knowledge and principles.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in IT projects or delivery project execution, demonstrating a strong understanding of IT concepts and expertise in driving digitization initiatives.
- Proficiency in abstract thinking coupled with a pragmatic and hands-on work ethic, enabling effective implementation of ideas and solutions.
- Strong willingness to collaborate in agile, cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and German, facilitating clear and effective communication across diverse stakeholders.
- EU working permit required to be eligible for employment.
- Optional: Experience with ERP solutions and complex integrations, as well as prior exposure to SAP software such as SAP S/4 HANA, SAP R3, SAP SuccessFactors, providing additional value to the role.
