Senior Power BI Developer

Job Description
We currently have a vacancy for a Senior Power BI Developer fluent in English to offer his/her services as an expert remotely. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated and will closely cooperate with a major client’s development team remotely.
Your tasks
- Detailed design of components of the system, following internal working practices and standards;
- Design and development of user interfaces, with the user;
- Construction and testing of the program modules;
- Documentation of the system components;
- Communications with internal customers on the project issues.
Requirements
- University degree in Software Engineering or related subject combined with a minimum of 7 years of IT experience;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the design, development, and deployment of Power BI Reports;
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in querying Relational Databases including the creation of views and functions;
- Experience in connecting Power BI reports to various data sources such as on-premise SQL Server, Azure cloud database, Google Analytics, MS Excel files, SharePoint Lists, and APIs;
- Experience in deploying reports for integration on Public Websites and intranet sites as well as data modelling and database design;
- Experience in preparing data using DAX in Power BI and other means for use in Visualizations, especially Maps;
- Ability to analyze existing Tableau reports with existing data sources and recommend improvements while transitioning to Power BI combined with writing and optimizing queries to improve performance efficiency;
- Excellent command of the English language.
