We are looking for a dynamic and driven individual to join our team as an Information Security Intern. This (minimum) 6-month internship offers a unique opportunity to play a crucial role in ensuring the security and compliance of our innovative solutions here at Adverity!
This is a full-time hybrid position based in Vienna, and we'd love for you to visit our awesome office located in the heart of the first district 1-2 times a week.
Some of the things you’ll work on:- Participate in Adverity’s Information Security program following ISO 27001 standards in cooperation with the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and our cross-functional Information Security team.
- Support the team with their Information Security supplier and customer management by autonomously reviewing customer contracts, ensuring that our commitment to the highest standards of regulatory compliance is met and upheld.
- Showcase your initiative by maintaining and managing the Information Security (IS) database, providing essential support to the team.
- Elevate your legal acumen by identifying and highlighting potential legal risks or issues, while closely collaborating with our Legal and GDPR teams to stay at the forefront of evolving laws and regulations.
- Embark on a collaborative journey with your team, contributing your skills to cool projects like audits. These projects will focus on cutting-edge topics such as Risk Management, Network Security, and AI assessments, offering you an invaluable hands-on experience in the dynamic field of Information Security.
- Currently enrolled in or graduated from a relevant academic program, such as cybersecurity, security management, or a related field.Alternatively, if you have work experience in a similar profession, we would also love to receive your application.
- Possess basic legal understanding of data privacy and information security requirements, including GDPR.
- Demonstrate a detail-oriented work ethic and results-driven mindset.
- Exhibit a genuine passion for IT security, complemented by strong interpersonal skills and an excellent proficiency in English. Proficiency in German is a plus.

For this role, we provide an exciting internship opportunity with a grosssalary starting from 1.330 per month, contingent upon whether your internship is mandatory or voluntary.
