Huawei’s Austrian Research Center in Vienna (Vienna Research Center) is responsible for advanced technical research, architecture evolution design and strategic technical planning.
Now we are looking for a:
Magnetic circuit integrity expert (m/f/d)
Responsible for the definition of the next generation of board-level power architecture for ICT products, terminal power products and vehicle power products through the analysis of the challenges and requirements for future large chip power supply, as well as the study of efficient board-level power supply architecture and high-density power supply modules.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for ICT power supply, terminal power supply, vehicle power supply and other products of the board-level power supply demand analysis
- Get insight into the latest technology developments in the industry, follow the industry's technology trends, and lead medium and long-term planning for core technologies including power supply architecture, electromagnetic topology, PI, and high-frequency magnetic to support business success
- Responsible for the technology planning of the board-level power supply architecture, that can meet market requirements for future products
- Together with industry partners, build a healthy partnership, through technical cooperation, technical advice and technical seminars
- Support the team to improve existing methodologies and tools
Requirements
- Profound experience in the following industries and fields: Power management for chip design experience, IT chip power supply architecture design and power module design experience or High-frequency switch power supply design
- Insight into the latest technology developments in the industry, aware of the industry's technology trends and lead medium and long-term technology planning for core technologies including power supply architecture, electromagnetic topology, PI, and high-frequency magnetic to support business success
- Experience judging the commercial value of technology proposals, leading high-value innovation points in the charter landing and being responsible for the transformation of technology into commercial success
- Proficient in circuit topology analysis design (eg. LLC, BUCKBOOST, SC) as well as circuit topology-based magnetic path integrity design and innovation capabilities (eg. integrated magnetic, Matrix magnetic, High frequency magnetic)
- Familiar with the board-level power architecture, with board-level power architecture innovation, such as FIVR (Fully Integrated Voltage Regulator), FPA (component power architecture), VPS (direct power supply), HVDC (High-Voltage DC), etc.
- Good interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Working language: English
