We are hiring an experienced online store manager to grow and scale our Premium tea store: Teaura.ch
This is a remote-only position with profits amp; losses responsibility. The new team member will have the possibility to own shares of the company in the future.
Mission and responsibilities:
- To monitor and analyze sales, traffic, customer demographics and purchasing behavior.
- To provide regular performance updates and detailed analysis on key business metrics including site performance, conversion rates, sales by product/service, service delivery performance.
- To identify and develop new initiatives that help improve site engagement and increase conversion at each stage of the eCommerce funnel.
- To maximize the sales amp; profit potential of our online store through a commercial understanding of products, services, and customers.
- To prioritize marketing vehicles, budgeting, planning, delivery, and ROI quantification
- To recommend and implement technical and non-technical marketing strategies and initiatives that will drive traffic, conversion, retention, revenue, and profitability
- To maximize return on investment through testing, site optimization, and improving online customer experience
- To leverage customer insight and frequently monitor the competitive landscape and market trends
- To do product development and new suppliers vetting (less than 20% of work)
NOT required but a strong plus:
- Capable of creating a web content strategy, using personas and analytics to optimize the customer experience
- Experience in branding: Understands Brands, Branding Positions, Customer Demographics, and Shopper behavior to drive conversion and profitable sales across the store
- Experience in Consumer Packed Goods (CPG), consumer health, or pharma industries
- Demonstrated entrepreneurial drive and ability to be a self-starter that can think outside the box
- Possess skills in scaling Facebook / Google ads
- Strong plus: Have the copywriting skills needed to write high-engagement PPC content that reflects our brand’s voice

Requirements

- Very good level in German (B-2 or higher)
- No college or university degree requirements
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for innovation and creative thinking
- An eCommerce experience in a b2b and b2c environment
- Possess a holistic and deep understanding of the elements of a profitable e-commerce operation, including site experience, content optimization, analytics, client engagement, and conversion
Benefits
Initial salary range:
- 25k-35k based on location and experience
