Management Trainee - Finance, HR and Operations Lauda Europe

Job Description
Lauda Europe is a Maltese Airline which is part of the Ryanair Group and offers wetlease and charter services. To develop our management resource, we are now recruiting for management trainees, based in Vienna, with a requirement to travel to our Malta Headquarters, and other bases in our network as necessary. The appointment will be for 18 months, during which the management trainee will spend time in each of our HR and/or Operations and/or Finance Departments, depending on aptitudes and interests.
Finance:
- Financial reporting
- Preparation of Management accounts
- Preparation of subsidiary/statutory accounts
- Variance analysis
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
- Liaising with internal and external auditors
- SOX controls and compliance
- Ad-hoc duties amp; projects
- Liaison with local tax authorities
Human Resources:
- Liaising, supporting, and advising management at all levels across the business on all HR related matters, ranging from general queries, grievances to disciplinary investigations and legal case preparation
- Maintain the HR databases to ensure all files and the HR system are up to date amp; accurate
- Administration of employment contracts, employee queries, and payroll.
- Ad hoc HR projects and tasks
Operations:
- Resource planning
- Aircraft Movement Management
- Supervision of Operations
- Cost and data analyses
- Flight Schedule analyses
- Monitoring of Operations Performance
- Maintain and track attendance reports
- Development of operational efficiency measures
Requirements
What you need- You will need to have very good/excellent grades at your university and ambition to take on responsibility sooner rather than later. You must be prepared to travel to our Malta Headquarters and other airports in our network on a regular basis on short notice.
