Kaleido is hiring an experienced Legal Counsel (m/f/x) who will be the first point of contact for internal and external requests about all legal matters. Our products remove.bg, unscreen.com and designify.com are the market-leading solutions for automated background removal with Artificial Intelligence, used by millions of users every day.
Your tasks
- Drive the creation and evolution of a company wide legal framework that covers Kaleido and all its services (Terms of Service; Privacy Policy; General Terms and Conditions; etc)
- Support the enterprise sales team in compliance processes with new customers (Service Level Agreements; Proposals; etc.)
- Taking responsibility for creating and red-lining various internal legal documents like employee contracts or addendums
- Reviewing terms of service and commercial contracts from suppliers
- Other legal tasks as may arise from time to time
Requirements
- Degree in law from an Austrian university (bonus: completed "Rechtsanwaltsprüfung")
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an in-house legal, bonus if some of it was in a (software) start-up environment
- Solid business acumen of digital business models/startups
- Basic technical understanding of how software businesses and APIs function
- Experience with Austrian labor law, GDPR and digital terms of services
- You have worked with commercial contracts (B2B software licence agreements) before
- You have an eye on necessary details, at the same time you are solution-oriented, fast and able to work with tight deadlines
