Genetec is seeking for Test Automation Engineers to join our team in Vienna!

As a Test Automation Engineer at Genetec, you will:

• Participate in building a new test infrastructure for web-based applications.
• Define, execute, and automate test plans
• Improve our CI/CD pipelines, with a focus on test automation.
• Participate in Code Reviews and voluntary presentations to help improve the know-how of yourself and the team.
• Work on a modern codebase

Here’s a sneak peek of the stack we’re using:

• ASP.NET Core and C++
• Angular with Typescript
• CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps

Other responsibilities:

• Create automatic tests and make their result statistics available
• Manually test parts that aren’t feasible to be automated
• Support the entire application lifecycle (design, test, release and support)
• Update CI/CD Pipelines
• Stay up-to-date with new technology trends and suggest improvements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience

• Experience in the entire Quality Assurance process from planning to execution to documentation.
• Working ambitiously and precise, able to focus on the end user and can perform technical and functional tests of our software

• Experience with automation frameworks on cloud applications
• Good understanding of Git
• A passion for delivering high-quality products
• Fluent in English amp; excellent collaborative skills
