Business Partner Finance RD
Valneva, Austria

• Act as Business Partner for R amp; D functions globally (mainly Austria, France but also Ramp;D related spend/allocations
  across Sweden/Scotland) and where needed align with local accounting teams
• Take ownership of global direct amp; indirect Ramp;D spend in terms of business planning, budgeting, forecasting, analysis
  and commentary of actual spend vs plan; ensure key assumptions are available and aligned for planning processes
• Provide Ramp;D Senior Management, VP Finance amp; other stakeholders with visibility on Ramp;D specific Finance topics
• Ensure sufficient personal interaction with Senior Ramp;D Management in Vienna to ensure high level of alignment
• Address any areas of material deviations from plan and ensure drivers are well understood and explained and financial
  plans are adjusted accordingly
• Provide decision making support and participate in financial decision-making processes especially during contracting
  phase with external service providers
• Provide analytical support for creation and evaluation of business cases
• Liaising with Accounting and Group Controlling to ensure high quality of Financial Analysis and support implementation
  of new / changed accounting standards

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in Finance and Controlling in an international environment
• Analytical amp; detail-oriented mind-set
• Organized with strong systematic approach to prioritization
• Strong assertiveness capabilities and self-initiative
• Independent amp; accurate working style
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a
  virtual/international team
• Strong oral and written communication, negotiation and presentation skills
• Ability to translate data into meaningful / actionable information
• Very good proficiency in English
• Excellent MS Office skills and BI work experience
